Ever have that proverbial “gut” feeling about something that won’t go away and keeps growing that says something bad is
going to happen? Got one. Been with me several months now, and I saw some events in the sun and on the earth recently that convinced me my “gut” is right.
SOMETHING BIG ABOUT TO HIT THE WORLD?
We all know there are a ton of “gloom ‘n doom” prophets on social media, from the religious prophets to the political prophets and the financial prophets. And, we’ve all experienced their insane ability to create irresistible “click bait” images and words which, albeit with a groan, we’ve clicked and left after a bit, shaking our gullible heads.
Let’s be honest. Many of us have done that. My hand’s up. But, now and then I’ve hit a few of the Christian “prophets” that left me thinking–the kind of thinking that says, “What if he’s right?” Add to that, in my somewhat casual quest for truth, I was seeing non-religious, hard evidence videos as corroboration for what some of these “gloom ‘n doomers” were saying. And, I found it. The kind I am familiar with. The kind that my job as a lawyer, required. Their facts and conclusions began lining up with a few of the predictions of the “prophets.” It got my attention. Sometimes, you just can’t afford to be dismissive of a matter merely on the basis that it doesn’t line up with your…whatever (theology, understanding, belief, education, etc). You have to examine the evidence. You have to put your biases on hold.
All that to say this. I’m a curious guy. I read a ton of stuff in a wide array of disciplines. Recently, I began seeing a picture come together that is kind of scary. My initial look into all of this had mostly to do with earthquakes and volcanos and meteorites. I watched a guy who are pretty savvy in the world of volcanos and earthquakes, and as I did, the picture sharpened. Then, I plugged in some expert assertions on the affects other planets and the moon and the sun on our earth. I had no idea those effects were so powerful and could cause such dramatic effects.
So, here’s the deal. The picture that has emerged for me from a variety of science-types, including a “prophet,” is that pretty soon we’re going to see volcanos erupt in the world that is going to cause catastrophes like we’ve never seen before. Italy is a ticking time bomb. Absent intervention from God, either Washington or Oregon will likely see a humongous tidal wave – a monstrous tsunami that is definitely going to bring devastation to whatever coast it hits. It could even be both. (I would think it would hit Alaska, too, though the science vids I watched didn’t address Alaska, nor did the prophet dude…though he may have mentioned it and I missed it since I didn’t see the whole thing.)
The deep waters below in certain areas are boiling. Fish we’ve seldom or never seen are appearing, rising to the surface, dead. Something is going on way down in the deep. People who know the effects of the planets and the sun on the earth seem to believe there are some “alignments” and events on the sun that’s been putting pressures on the earth that is making it unstable. Some think it’s going to blow soon.
I believe God will give alerts before this happens, so it may be that some of these “prophetic” types are in fact, being used of God to sound the warning. I’m fairly skeptical of most of these guys in the Charismatic world. But, I do listen to a few of them now and then. And, for those few, I set aside my Baptist prejudices and, as I’ve stated, I force myself to take a mindset that says: “What if he’s right?” But, I am also paying attention to some geologists and other science-based people, too. Their conclusions are mirroring some of this one “prophet’s” predictions related to the volcanos (I don’t know about his other predictions and make no assertions as to that.).
Be prepared if you are in the Oregon and/or Seattle area. And, if you’re in Japan, if what they seem to indicate is happening, happens, that’s going to be the darkest hour for Japan, darker than even Hiroshima. I hope all the “expert” data is wrong and the “prophet” had too many nachos before he went to bed.
THE LAST DAYS BEFORE THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST
I’m convinced we are in the “last days” and am further convinced that we’re going to have some great days ahead in a lot of ways, but some dark ones, too. I don’t agree that it’s all going to be bad. I believe God is going to give one final revival time before the bad times. He’s done that many times in our history. If you look at the time just prior to the Civil War in America, you’ll see one of the greatest times of revival we ever had in America. Hundreds of thousands were saved. And soon, tens of thousands of lives were lost in that great war.
So, be in prayer. Pay attention to your life. Realize that the prosperity our President is helping to deliver to you, to this economy is fleeting. Realize that Jesus made a promise and a prediction before he died. He promised there would come a time upon the earth that would be the worst time ever in human history. But, he also promised that there would be a rescue from that time. “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (22) And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matt. 24:21-22).
However, he didn’t promise we would not go through hard times before that event (called the Tribulation). There are likely to be some tough times ahead for us prior to that time. I personally believe we are on the edge of the beginnings of our entry into that 7 year period called the Tribulation. Perhaps we’re in the early stages. While I’ve long held to a “Pre-Trib” Rapture, it might be that the “Mid-Trib” folks were right. Or, that we were both wrong and it’s a “somewhere between” Pre & Mid Rapture. Jesus said we’d be taken out of that time, but some would be left behind.
“For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, (39) And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (40) Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (41) Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (42) Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come” (Matt. 24:38-42).
Anyway, if my reading of the tea leaves is right, we are on the very cusp from part of the earth exploding around some of us. It isn’t a time to fear, but a time to rejoice. It also means we need to seriously work on getting and staying close to God. I like what King David had to say about the matter:
“O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. (4) I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. (5) They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. (6) This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. (7) The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. (8) O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him” (Psa 34:3-8).
